2nd Prize: this was was a real favourite with my musician friends. It is a thoughtful use of musically related elements – the record, the cymbals. piano keys, and even guitar pegs(?) for the eyes, I think. The result? An unlikely crab with a great expression – nicely done! What would have pushed it to the top spot would have been a little more care in the construction, and some thought to perhaps elevating the record disc so it could move about.
